H I S T O R Y

The Latin American Cultural Space (LACS) was founded in April 2000 in Washington, DC.

M I S S I O N

The Latin American Cultural Space seeks to nurture the aesthetics, consciousness, and cultural legacy of the Latin American culture by:

Presenting works and sponsoring art projects by contemporary Latin American artists; Collaborating with and providing technical assistance to other arts, cultural and community based organizations; Educating on the impact of Latin American culture in the arts; and Creating and updating an artist database and a reference library of artists and cultural activities for the community.
